Established in 1997, Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) is dedicated to autism research, education, evidence-based treatment, and community outreach.
2020
The key challenge for SARRC was to capture a meaningful perspective from the end-user who may be dealing with the context of this situation. Taking a screening questionnaire can be frightening causing stress and fatigue, especially when things aren't working in the right way.

We designed an enriched user experience using the branding's color palette to refine how the application feels today. We changed the meaning of their purple to differentiate how it was from with now providing a feeling of calm and trust. The screening questionnaire is crafted to make them feel invited and not pushed out. All call-to-actions are subtly placed and not there to keep the user hostage for their information which has net positive results from the stakeholder to end user after qualitative and quantitative research. It's now easier than ever to find resources and take screening tests as a parent or teacher.
